Description of drilling conditions:
The PDC (GS1604) drill bit produced by Geruite has excellent performance in both drilling speed and footage.
The drilling process of the drill bit is very stable.
The drill bit footage has reached the guaranteed depth specified by the manufacturer.
Bottom hole assembly:
Drill bit 190, 5mm (0,30 m) + crossover (0,54 m) + drill collar -146 mm (18,87 m) + SBC-190, 5mm (0,98 m)
+ Drill collar - 146 mm (56.68 m) + Jar - 146 (8.70 m) + Drill collar - 146 mm (37.49 m) + Crossover (0.35 m) + SDP - 127mm
Compared with our competitors:
Compared to the drill bits from other companies, Geruite's PDC drill bits perform better when drilling in the production area of the Surgil oil field (in Central Asia).
Figure 1 shows the comparison of drilling speed and footage for the drill bits used in the Surgil oil field in 2018.
When other companies' drill bits reach the downhole section (2450-2950 m) during drilling, their drilling speed cannot exceed 1.5-2.0 m/h. However, using the Ge Ruite drill bit, the drilling speed can reach 3.0-3.5 m/h.
They conducted three drilling operations in the oil extraction area of the Surgil oil field, ranging from 1500 meters to 2950 meters.
After each operation, the client conducts a formation study (LOG).
The first drilling depth is between 1500-2000 m, the second drilling depth is between 2000-2450 m, and the third drilling depth is directly between 2450-2950 m.
Stratum:
Rock drilling clay, siliceous, sandstone, claystone.
Wear resistance: 2 – 4
Below are the details of the drill bit drilling into the rock formation:
- Between 1520-2000 meters: clay (mainly alternating between red and gray) - 30%; sandstone - 50 – 55%; mudstone - 15 – 20%.
-Between 2000-2450 meters: clay (red and dark gray) - 35%; sandstone - 35 – 45%; mudstone - 20 – 30%.
- Between 2450-2950 meters: clay (dark gray) - 35-40%; sandstone - 20-25%; mudstone - 35-40%.
