Fire Drill Successfully Concludes — Fortifying the Defense Line for Workplace Safety

#News center ·2026-04-17 09:17:15

Safety is no trivial matter — preventing hazards before they occur is essential. To enhance fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities across the workforce, GREAT Group recently organized a comprehensive, realistic fire emergency drill. With an approach of 'training as if fighting a real battle,' all employees participated to protect lives and property and to strengthen the company's safety defenses. The drill simulated real fire scenarios, with a pre-established plan and clearly assigned roles. Simulated ignition points were set up in three workshops, and emergency responses were activated simultaneously, allowing employees to practice evacuation and self-rescue techniques.

As the urgent fire alarm sounded, simulated fire points in the three workshops simultaneously "ignited." Smoke filled the air, and the emergency state was rapidly activated. Guides in each workshop took their positions, directing and reminding employees to "cover your mouth and nose, bend low, and evacuate in an orderly manner." Following instructions, employees quickly evacuated along the predetermined routes to the designated assembly points — the entire process was tense yet orderly. Department heads promptly took roll calls and reported the situation, ensuring a closed-loop evacuation process.

Following the evacuation, the safety officer provided an on-site demonstration of the fire extinguisher operating — 'lift, pull, aim, squeeze' — explaining each step, correcting common errors, and helping employees master the techniques for fighting incipient-stage fires. Employees then practiced in groups, completing the extinguishing process under the guidance of Safety Manager Zhang. This hands-on experience gave them a genuine feel for the practicality of firefighting skills, effectively translating theoretical knowledge into practical competence."

After the hands-on practice, Safety Manager Zhang conducted a safety lecture tailored to the characteristics of workshop production. He explained the "four capabilities" of fire safety and the "five understandings and five abilities," and highlighted potential hazard points such as electricity usage and material stacking. The lecture also covered alarm procedures and escape techniques, reviewed typical case studies, answered employees' questions, and guided everyone to transform safety awareness into daily habits — preventing problems before they arise.

This drill employed a comprehensive model — 'simulated ignition points in multiple locations + evacuation + hands-on extinguisher practice + safety knowledge dissemination' — to strengthen the fire safety foundation for all employees. Looking ahead, GREAT Group will remain committed to fire safety, continuously reinforcing the 'safety mindset' and sharpening 'emergency response capabilities,' thereby building a solid protective barrier for both its employees and the company's growth.
